Looks good. But if I am a big luxo barge I am looking at Sclass first, S8 second and Full size Range rover next. Maybe a test drive and seeing them in person will change my mind. The new S class is just WOW. I see the S class coupe as my next DD.

like i said i am biased. but techwise i am made to believe that thing surpasses the benz. looks are always taste of your own, so i can't say much about that. will have to wait and see.
thanks for posting, seen them already last night. i know i am biased but this thing going to kill the game! period.
I think the S Class is still the most popular among the German trio. I would prefer a BMW over Merc or Audi any day, perhaps not the 7-Series.

The rear end looks good and so does the side. The front is what I'm worried about. I agree with you. In this segment, the S Class certainly is a winner. But, I wouldn't mind a little sporty 6-Series Gran Coupe
We all know that the engineering/technology is going to be impressive, but I'm note sure BMW's current styling language is enough to appeal to the majority of buyers in THIS segment. For most, I think the current S-Class where it's at right now.

Before 2012, I would only really consider BMW for a sport/luxury sedan. Since then MB and Audi have stepped up their game and BMW has seemed to back slide. Go test drive an S6 and a 6series grand coupe, the performance and technology and infotainment are all superior in the Audi. 6Series GC does look the amazing though. Then compare prices, a fully loaded S6 is around 85k and the 6series GC is about 120k. I see a big problem with that.
I haven't ruled out BMW, but they have nothing in their line up that is drawing me in.
Is this what they came up with after 7 damn years? it looks like a facelift.
And it looks like a 3er, which in turns look like a 5er..
And that interior is a joke, i mean subtle luxury in all honor, but that is a joke. To much like the rest of the line up, and they want people to pay 100K plus for this ?
Hell atleast the Benz is unique in its interior compared to the rest of the line up.
This car will last another 7 years thats damn near 2022..imagine that! It looks old right now, and the 7er is supposed to set the tone for the whole brand.
looks like a rough years ahead for BMW if they call this progress, and i expect major facelifts if they want to compete for sales.
