nice - fairly immaculate. Not sure I like the carbon fiber - wood or piano black would be more fitting imo

Wow, lovely.

I used to own a silver 1971 2800CS when I lived in Los Angeles, and the car got compliments wherever I went. I bought it for $4000 from a nice man in Santa Monica, who warned me the car had severe rust issues, as these cars tend to do (Karmann invented rust, but the Italians patented it, is how the legend goes).

"I understand," I said.

One day, a year or two after I bought it, I had a flat tire. I put the jack under the car, jacked ... and jacked ... and the jack simply had gone through the body and didn't do much good in lifting the body.

Severe rust issues, indeed.

I ended up selling the car for $1,000 (kick me, I'm an idiot) and I bought a 1984 BMW 633 CSi instead. Fast, no rust, but uncomfortable seats. So, I installed some Volvo 240 Seats. Better. These six series cars are addictive. I bought another 4 and then got yet one more as a present, so ... now I have six six Series BMWs. :-) And, one of them actually runs reliably ...

This is my first post. I'm new here. I hope this isn't too rambling.

~Tanya
