Exclamation X5 Panoramic Sunroof Leak, damaged computers

Hey X5 Lovers!

Anyone else ever have the issue where their panoramic sunroof leaks and the water goes down the rear quarter panel, shorting out the computers that control the rear camera, entertainment system etc??

The repair bill is out of control!!!! I'm wondering whether it's a design fault/defect...? According to BMW, the sunroof is designed to leak, but if the water channels get blocked, say goodbye to your computers!!
