Because the X6 is too big.

This thing looks better than the X6, smaller and more agile. I can't wait for seeing it in production form with the M3/M4 engine. Nice done BMW!

I just don't see the point. Who is this for? Also, you may as well make it a 2-door because the back seats are probably uncomfortable for anyone but children.

I hated the looks of the x6 so much and the fact that they made a smaller version is even worse.

I love the SUV coupe concept because it punctuates the fact that the majority of SUV buyers have no intention of taking it off-road or carrying adults in the back seat. It has none of the hypocrisy of a fully-fledged high street tractor.
