Hoping to see a 5 door option at some point (mostly so I can replace my GR hatch). 2.0 DIT sounds promising with some sort of electric turbo and full torque available at 1500 rpm.

I don't think it's supposed to. I believe the plan with this generation is to break WRX/STi models away from their Impreza base. Probably a good thing.

I just can't see how this is really the concept from Subaru. 6pot Brembos on a 'Rex for starters? Nonsense.
I guess we'll know more in a day or so when they reveal in New York. I'm more expecting a beefed up BRZ platform, especially if you look at the new WRC spec rules!
