Coming to a store near you: BMW Diesel
As early as this fall, we'll start to see BMW Diesels here in the states in its 3 series line.
By all accounts, the 3 series will be just under 300hp, and I can't recall the torque, but I can recall that it is only about a 1/2 second slower than a 330.
There is BMW training facility less than 3 miles from me in Atlanta, and I see all kinds of things coming and going over there.
And it helps that my best buds is a tech supervisor...
I'm trying to get him to score me some pics.
I'll post em when and if I get em.
At any rate, he tore one of the engines down today, and said it is just a beast.
