BMW Adding New Line Of Toned Down M Performance Automobiles

No different than S-line. I imagine the BMW take, though, will be along the lines of "is" models which is substantially better than the Audi S-line performance tweaks, or rather lack thereof.

How is this different than using "M Sport" packages like on the e39? Door sill, shift knob, etc all have the M badging on those..

this seems like the natural extension to what you could do before when specifying a car and putting certain M division upgrades or styling extras

this is very similar to Audi's S range !

Really, really, REALLY reminds me of the ZHP package from the E46. They shouldn't be marketing it as an M though, just wrong IMO.
