He probably just didn't know about this issue.

BMW really has zero experience with Al frame cars at the time when they put out the Z8, unlike Audi.

This was all over the Internetz and bimmer forums everywhere back then.

Thanks for the info guys

The cars that are cheaper are all silver. I dont like silver. Id get black or white. It's just questioning now. I'm not buying anything. I'm just curious why theyve done so well on resale really.

No one likes silver. I've never seen a white Z8. That would be badass

I myself am not a fan, but all my buddys are. I think it's because its a James Bond car.

Yeah I have aswell been suprised how well they have held their prices. But the design is very nice, engine great and guess numbers produced was somewhat limited. Seems like this has resulted in more demand than supply.

Prices in europe start from 120kUSD and cheapest black one is 180kUSD....

I know a guy who drove his daily here in L.A. Never had any issues with it. They are great looking cars.

If you buy a white one it's probably an used safty car or the alpina version, I thought those were the only white Z8's ever produced.
