I know I am stating the obvious, but since I am sure BMW knows what they are doing, who do they suppose is the market for this car? Wouldn't someone that wants a 550i with more space look at a 550i wagon? And one that wanted a 550i with a higher seating position and a touch more utility move into an X6?

It boggles the mind... if the engineers dont know what they are doing, wouldn't the board stop them before committing money? Are they on to something we dont know?
