Decided on going with the Duramax with 450HP and over 900 torque. Now I am not saying there is anything wrong with the cummins, because you really can not go wrong wither either motor. Here's why we went Dmax:

- When the cummins was running, we literally had to yell to talk to each other, it sounded like one loud tractor. The Dmax was not super quiet, but it was not as loud as the cummins.
- Predator admitted to not having all the gremlins figured out with the cummins conversion, although they do not have very many problems and they are minor, they are there.
- The Dmax conversion is down to about 3 days for them, and after talking to multiple owners and driving one, it is simply the way to go.
- The Dmax was silly fast and simply addicting, the Stage 1 power is MORE than enough.

Now about Predator themselves. They are a fantastic group of people. I can not wait to get the project started and get an excuse to go back down again.

Edit - I'll add pics later. Some of the cummins motor installed for you cummins guys

You can't lose either way, I think you'll be thrilled with the Duramax.

Sounds like they had you around a VP or P pumped Cummins. They are noisy as hell. The common rail is as quiet as the Duramax (which is also common rail).

Looking forward to the results.
