I was detailing cars for this guy (he has like 10+), and he didn't have the time to work on it, so after I got done detailing all of the cars, he gave me this car as payment. I see it as I got the better end of it!

Currently, the whole interior is gutted... We're working on re-working all of the panels, and the seats will be going off to get re-done very shortly. We're waiting for Summit Racing to ship us a Pertronix Ignitor II module (that hasn't been made yet). This should be here by the end of the month. In the mean time, there is plenty of interior work to be done. I'll post some pictures in a few minutes.

 

First few are of the somewhat de-greased original 4.2 L XK engine and the last one (sorry for the lack of quality... iPhone pics) are of the gutted interior. Lots of work... lots of work

Well, it's been a while since I've posted, I know. But I've been quite busy, with school, and working on the car, and whatnot. But I thought I'd fill you in on the progress! Tomorrow, the car is finally going to start coming back together. It's been in pieces since we've gotten it, and we've only been taking off. Finally, we're putting back on! We ended up gutting the entire interior, and going over practically everything while it was gutted. We now start the tedious process of putting it back together. Attached are some pictures of the progress we've made!
