Thanks guys. Picked up some groceries, as well as some paintings being framed, yesterday. Works very well.

Saw one of these on the road today, it looked good, I like the new legacy styled front end a lot.

Spot on! It took a double take to convince me it wasn't a new legacy. Looks much more refined. Congrats!

These are great little cars! They are great on gas, pocketbook and sure footed. Great DD.

Thanks all. Having driven it more I can say I'm really impressed by the chassis. Despite having a tall and soft suspension, it handles pretty well. In the rain today I couldn't get an ounce of understeer out of it at even questionable speeds on the street. With minor suspension work and bracing this could easily handle another 200+ hp.

It feels much higher up than it actually is. The seat is higher than in last gen, and the window line much lower. Combine that with a higher-than-usual ride height for a compact and it feels almost like a small crossover. I know it's a few inches smaller in all dimensions, but it looked similar in size to an Infiniti EX in all but width.

Pinned, the shift knob should be in tomorrow. Pics to come.

Thanks for the recommendation! Got the knob yesterday and it looks awesome. Black copolymer, brass insert, red shift pattern. Excellent. Early birthday present from the wife (isn't she great?)

As an aside the windshield wiper de-icers show nothing on the outside, but work great!
