Reventons are murcis with a factory body kit. The fact that 25-50% of them are for sale at any given time should tell you that it would not be a good investment. They are nice cars to look at but it's not the right car to buy to make money from later.

P4/5 will not be for sale in our lifetime. Jim was offered a ridiculous amount of money for it already and he turned it down. When he dies it will be passed to his kids along with the rest of his collection.

^You of all people is taking this thread seriously? I see maybe 3 cars mentioned that actually have the potential of being a good investment with an ROI comparable to parking your money elsewhere, and this is assuming you never register/insure/drive the car and only have it serviced and cleaned up before putting it up for sale.

I'm sorry, did not took that into account. You're right, only cars that are buyable....

Exactly this. I believe that at one point 14 of the 20 coupes were for sale.

There will never be a car that will worth as much as a 250GTO. No from 2000 on......

Yeah I guess I should have said that in this discussion, u should assume that this was the only way to invest your money. If you HAD to choose a car from the last 10 years that you COULD buy and hold onto for maybe 50 years, what would you choose?
