What you did there, I see it.

RufMD makes an important distinction: daily-appropriate fun car vs daily-kid hauler-snow machine-(kind of)fun car.
If I could get my wife to drive the latter, I could log more time in the former.
Since we kind of doubled-up on the kid-hauler, snow friendly mobiles, maybe an R8 Spyder isn't so impractical after all....
I'll let you know how my sales pitch goes over with my wife.
edit.. that was quick. Me: 'maybe we could do without the X5'. Her: 'what would you drive? Me: 'maybe a 'car'...maybe something like an R8'. Her: 'that's absurd...we (read you) really need an SUV....don't you have enough cars'?
That didn't go how I thought - LOL.

Well it depends how you define daily driver. For me, it's a vehicle you log tons of miles on going back and forth to work or doing routine trips for daily stuff...something fun to log the miles yet do it in a stylish and cost effective way compared to something uber exotic. As far as golf or groceries, not going to work
If you didn't own 45 others . You owned one car. Just play along lol.
Would you buy an r8?
I always assume a DD to be large enough to do anything you want whenever you want. No restrictions. So it wouldn't fit for me. As you are like me in the I love my family department, I have one question.
Who do you leave at home when you drive the r8?

I'm still sticking with the s4

Idk, if we are talking about an suv here, why not, get a Cayenne S w/ as many options as you can while staying under $100k. God those Porsches sure get expensive fast w/ options, you can easily make a car cost 2x the base price of any model.
