How about a Chevy 2500HD crewcab? Put a tonneau along with a rugliner in the back and you have a giant trunk. They are bullet proof.

Most american cars rattles
The build quality would never be on par with its european counterpats

I'm getting my evoque in 5 days.
I've driven it and it's truly amazing.
A lot more fun than my Range rover sport supercharged 2009

I got the dynamic 3 door version, which is priced the highest of the bunch. I'm paying about 69-70k. Us prices are about 10k less

Lightbulb

Your votes got me to test out the GC, I Drove a friend 2011 Limited yesterday... I was pleasantly surprised

The GC drives well... not as attached as many German brands but not as detached at most Japanese SUVs, comfortable seating great visibility and in "sport" mode the throttle response is excellent and the body-roll is not excessive... I guess using the Benz-ML chassis helped greatly. Build quality feels/looks good (much better than the Cherokee and the GC I owned in the 90s) that is the Fiat touch I reckon, but only time will tell. The truck's features fit my need and exceed it... now let us see if I can get the price to fit the budget.

What I really like is that Chrysler is the only brand that has two representatives in the country... so I have options with regards to services and rates.
