Spied: 2013 Ford Focus ST
Ford's next "Hot hatch"?

Our spies snapped a few completely undisguised photos of Fords beefed up focus, the ST which is to debut at the Paris Show in late September, 2012. Expect the ST to go on sale in the US early 2012.

Under the hood should be a 247 horsepower version of Ford’s direct-injection turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost. Rumor has it the production Focus ST line will also include a sedan version, possibly to be previewed in Paris as well. Expect the Ford Focus ST price at least $25,000. Stay tuned for more!

What does ST stand for? At first I thought it was a typo meant to say SVT.

 

ST is the Europe version of our SVT cars. They also have RS cars, which is what I'm hoping they'll bring to the US finally. My buddy just ordered a new Focus hatchback - it looks really good in person. We are finally getting the same Focus as the rest of the world...
