Automotive Personality of the Decade

Guy's i think with would be great to have a discussion in the sense of finding out who was, in the last decade, the person you think the most contributed to the automotive world. You have got to present valid argumments, not just say that is your favorite brand or car.

The list

Top Gear crew
The Stig
Victor Muller
Horatio Pagani
Christian Koenigsegg
Luca de Montezemolo
Stephan Winkelmann
Kourush Mansory
Uwe Gemballa

These are just some of the most important. There are others that also have valid argumments, but as important. You can add names and argumment way you chose that name.

Walter Röhrl. Without him the CGT wouldn't be the pinnacle of modern supercars. His contribution to the development makes this car so special !

Kourush Mansory .... on the basis that it's quite amazing how nobody has abducted and killed him for his hideous creations.

Or, realistically, the Top Gear crew. It is by far the most joyful thing in the entire automotive world.

And in 3rd place, the Jalopnik crew. I love that site.

Kourush Mansory revolutionazed the world of tuning. He is one of my favorites, regarding what he has done in the last ten years. But also TG crew is amazing, cuz they made from this show that was nothing, on turned into a tremendous sucess! The way they aproach cars, and the format of the show is so clever and intellingent. But we can also say that Christian and Horatio turned two start up brands in what are today the world's best brands. They can't be compared with Bugatti, cuz Bugatti as a bank behind them(VAG). So on their own righ they're also the personality of the decade i guess? And Victor Muller, one of the most inteligent men i know of. Look at what perfection and fetish he creates at Spyker!! and the new Aileron, for me, is just simply one of the best cars ever!! And the price that he bought Saab! And the way he saved Spyker among many other things. He is def, also one of my favorites.
Walter Röhrl is ok, but what did he contributed for automotive world in the last decade? What work do you know from him, besides publicity for Porsche?
Michael Shumacher is the pilot of the decade. From 2000 to 2010 he won one after another F1 season how many times? And the records that we achieved?

People might argue that Victor Muller is the most idiotic person they know of for even touching Saab with a stick. Unless, of course, the question was, "Who in the last decade has bought a junk company with horrid products that is an inevitable bankruptcy for the smallest amount of money?. That, he would definitely win . . .

A guy that buys a car company like Saab for 75m or something is and idiot? A guy that brings Jason Castriota to head of design is a looser? Even in 6 months if Saab is bankrupt, wich i doubt alot, for the price that he bought it is just a genious move. A guy that is gonna reduce costs, alot, by sharing parts and technology with BMW is a what? This is what he have to do. Discuss the negative and positive aspects of each one and decide who contribued the most for the world the we love so much. It's all of theese guy's that make our day.

If Victor Muller is on the list for buying Saab, Cristian Von Koenigsegg should get the Nobel prize in economics for showing interest, getting a huge deal of free PR (which put the K-egg on the map as a supercar) then not going through with the deal. Now that's a good deal. But have either of them contributed to the automotive world? Not really.
Sure, the Top Gear team is spreading the Gospel, but my vote has to fall on Walter Rörhl, for his longtime commitment to product development and motorsport.
