I had a couple of VM's on my answering machine from Alex--from the event, on Friday, day before the accident. Just finally erased them last week. I've lost a few friends in the last few years, and it's sad when you delete messages, old emails, their contact info from your email app, contact from your cell phone...I don't like doing that at all.

 

Without being too disrespectful to this thread or trying to hijack it in any way, does anyone here know what became of the CGT? I am working with the legal owner of the car and have been receiving conflicting information as to where this CGT might actually be. Any help would be appreciated.

 

How does the legal owner not know where the car is?

 

No idea if it's his old ride, but there's an awfully similar car driving around Europe on Kuwaiti plates.

I know Alex had more than just straight pipes, and that car sounds exactly the same as Alex's Carrera GT.

 

It's a long story...in a nutshell...car was leased to Alex...he didn't pay...car moved all over the place as everyone knows...Alex had unfortunate accident...car still missing. Too much about what happened with it does not add up and a number of people have come forward saying the car is still in Cali...so, figured I'd ask here since so many people knew of Alex and the CGT.

Again, not here to tarnish his name, only locate the car.

 

O I see. I saw it a few months ago at a local show, that's all i know about it.

 

Any info about the show would be helpful...I can work back from there. Thanks for the info.

 

I even remember seeing it for sale at Ceaser's Casino before he had his accident. I don't think it ever sold though, and it was taken off the site.
