Usually 3 yrs. Drive quite a bit so the mileage gets high.

i've had my e36 (bmw summer car) for 5 years
I've had my e30 (AWD bmw beater) for 3 years
Owned that honda i posted pics of in the other thread for 2 (sold)
also owned an accord for about 7 months. (scrapped)

Its very unlikely i ever sell either of them, although i guess if i bought a C4S i could drive it year round.

But I am know to get attached sometimes, my 1st car I kept around for 14 years.
The oldest car I have now is about 13 years old now...

At my age, an M3 was a BIG purchase, so I intend to drive that thing into the ground. The 996TT (went halfsies), not so long as after a year I'm trying to sell it now. My S4 I had for six years, so I guess I tend to hold on to cars.

Oh the e39 M5, this car will remain in the family as long as I'm breathing.

Seems like about 3 years for me. Should be looking for something different late Summer or early Fall.
