AWD would've made it too heavy and it's already a bit of a porker.

This car is so chav-tastic, I love it.

Shit car from a shit company. I just torque-steered my head right into my computer by looking at the pics.

They made the "regular" RS front-wheel-drive because they didn't want to spend their money developing a different driveline for a special version. Basically they didn't want to make an idiotic car any good.
Says the guy who bought a "regular" A8 and rebadged it to look like an S8 because he didn't want to spend his money to buy something worthwhile. Basically you didn't want to make a slow car any better and just wanted to fool the donkeys at your local watering hole into sleeping with you.

Looks great. I'd never get it though. Under-delivers in comparison to its looks, but good effort...

I had a FWD car pushing 350whp using a LSD... torque steer was there but honestly whats the big deal? I drive with my hands on the steering wheel so its not like keeping the car on course is an issue - certainly not the issue all the reviewers make it out to be. To hear Clarkson talk about it you'd swear it was the end of the world if a car has torque steer.

It's bad in the same way that getting your puppy run over by the plow truck is bad. You'll go on with your life, but it will suck for a while until you get another dog that isn't stupid.

If everyone could afford it, I'm sure we'd all be driving S8 look-alikes...

I'm going to give you a few minutes to think this subject over. If you really want to get into this debate, I'll know by way of your post still being there.
