Ford releases the Focus RS500 [Pics]
As if the Ford Focus RS wasn't enough with it's 300 ponies at the front wheels, this RS500 has 350 of them! It looks like a beast in matte black, nom nom!

It looks actually kinda cool. Wheels are a little tiny in this shot:
350 over the front wheels???? - talk about torque steer and no chance you can put this power down.

With another 45 hp and torque up to 460 Nm, the Focus shall hit 62 mph in 5.6 seconds and go on to a top speed of 263 km/h. The matte black isn't a paint, but instead a wrap put on the black paint. The chassi, brakes and rims are the same as on the regular RS, but the brakes have been undergoing some massive testing on the Nürburgring to meet the power. 500 laps and 10 000 km of the Ring to be exact!
The RS500 will have it's premiere on April the 9th on the car show in Leipzig.

Yes, they did sort of manage a 300 hp with their Revo-Knuckle technology so it was bearable. So it'll be quite the beast to handle another 45

Shit car from a shit company. I just torque-steered my head right into my computer by looking at the pics.
They made the "regular" RS front-wheel-drive because they didn't want to spend their money developing a different driveline for a special version. Basically they didn't want to make an idiotic car any good.
