I vote for WRX - Get downpipes/Exhaust, Up-Pipe, Cobb Accessport and go have some fun!! Prob can find an 04-05 (better body style) for less than $15k in good shape, and have some $$ let over for mods

Excuse me, but at what point did you own a sports car?

I think he is confused on what a sports car is because he then says that is why he wants an audi. And audi is not a sports car. It is a luxury car, for sure, but not a sports car - it is a compact executive car

Reminds me of a news report about the snowy/icy roads the other night. They showed footage of an suv (durango) and a "sports car" that ended up in the grass on the side of the road. the "sports car" was a srt4. i lol'd.

Come on guys, give the kid a break. Jon is a nice, respectful young man who I'm proud to acknowledge as a friend. Hes just asking for a little advice. For you old timers, think back to when you were about to head off to college and all the seemingly endless stuff going through your head. Might seem silly today if you really thought about it. Besides he just might put us all to shame when he makes it to the "Big Show".

Jon, I like the WRX idea.

Oh and I'm sure he knows what a "sports" car is........don't you buddy?? lol

I would suggest a WRX. I had an A4 when I was younger and all my money went into it (insurance, maintence, etc). My WRX now handles better then my A4 did and ownership is far less expensive. Great in the snow, never had any major problems with it. If you can try to get an 06-07 they have the 2.5 liter. Any other questions about Subies lets me know. Oh, and chicks love the Rex.

I still think you should just sell your civic and keep all the cash.

Kuzi, I definately know what sports car is. Also, the WRX is something I may be interested in.

Thank you very much for the insight on the A4. If I have any more questions about the WRX I will send you a PM.

Go for a WRX or older Honda. Skip the mods. If I had all the ****ing money I spent on modifying my shitbox I'd be driving a low mileage R8 or 997TT right now which would be more reliable thanks to not having aftermarket garbage on it
