No. Avoid it like the plague.

Girls don't dig stuff from Sweden. Just ask Jox why he has such a hard time getting a date!

A friend of mine had a saabaru through college, now he has a new STi. He seemed to like it though. Doesn't matter much what girls think about his car though, his dad owns a few offshore oil companies.

Look moron:

College is about having fun, getting laid, smoking weed and partying as often as you want. The last thing you want is a nice car you have to worry about leaving everywhere. The car will be left for months at a time without being cleaned, pick up plenty of door dings and the last thing you'll end up wanting is something unreliable you'd have to sink money into. You'll do a few roadtrips - maybe once a year and for that all you need is a Honda Civic, a 1990's one at that.

But hey, don't listen to us - do what you want and at the end of your college experience just remember what i said, dumbass.

Hey, I am not looking to start any trouble at all or disagreeing with anything you are saying. I am listening to your advice and since you have said something about a 1990's civic it has got me thinking. I most likely will not walk down that path but I am probably not gonna go down the Audi route either. My biggest concern is being able to survive withouth driving a sports car for 3 years. I have not made it 9 months without a sports car since I have been able to drive, so that is my reason behind looking at the Audi.

Again, I am just asking for advice and not looking to make anyone mad. Know that I am listening to all of your suggestions and am thankful for you taking the time to make the suggestion. Sorry if I made you mad.

Sell your civic and pocket the $20k. You don't need a car in college if you have friends with cars.

^^^ the truth. you really don't need a car in college, esp if you are attending one where EVERYONE has a car. save that money and party like a rockstar (this being my own advice from experience, having just graduated). i had a car in college in pittsburgh. yeah it was nice, but not necessary. everyone had cars + public transportation.

but if you do need one, then go for a cheap WRX. that's probably your best bet for snow fun and a solid manual. and for getting one on the cheap (think low teens $$$)
