Playing in the snow (Or Why Audi Rocks)
Hahaha! Now I remember why I got this car! We got our first real snowfall of the season. We went out to dinner last night shortly before the plows hit the roads. Saw a dodge ram try to make a light/left turn. He started to slide, badly corrected and ended up spinning. At the restaurant there was a guy in a mustang convertible (???) who was stuck. Couldn't get up the hill either way, someone was bringing him some chains.
Meanwhile among the explorers, hummers, jeeps and chained up hondas we're rolling OEM pirelli all weather tires. I did a few ABS checks, well they work but this car is still heavy and slides a ways. And man does it slide when you want it to! Predictable and easy to correct, like a better version of a RWD car. I've driven in the snow a lot, and in a lot of vehicles. I swear audi makes the most entertaining snow car.
Stopped by a friend's, and he has your other option for getting around in the winter here.....
