I've read a lot from the UK mags (esp. evo) how the Mk VI is not as fun as the Mk V (much like the Evo X vs. the Evo IX). That, combined with the great deal I got, was enough to make it worthwhile. Now if we could get the Scirocco over here, that would've been the only choice.

Don't know about the redline yet - it's only got 50 miles on it at this point! I'll check in a couple weeks though.
MB is waaaaay too good to him to risk screwing things up LOL.
