Our White VW Touareg 2...

Hi,

I realized I never actually bothered to make a topic about our car, a 2007 Volkswagen Touareg Individual V6 TDI. Of course (or at least in my opinion), it doesn't match up to most of the cars you guys have, especially because it's a SUV. Nonetheless, it's the DD and it's still one of the few white Touareg's in the Benelux area and for Dutch standards this car is still pretty awesome!

We bought this car new, back in November 2007 and it currently has approximately 85,000km on the clock. When we ordered this car we initially planned for it to be either black or silver in color but I wanted something radically different, so we risked it, and went with white instead. We weren't sure how it was going to turnout in real life as no other white Touareg 2 had ever been ordered in the Netherlands!! We think it turned out alright .

Since then, we've gotten a lot of positive comments on the car and there have even been a few Cayenne and X5 owners asking us about the car. We get the feeling that they actually kind of regret their own purchase!

We opted for the trusty V6 TDI instead of the V10 due to mileage. Diesel/Petrol/Gas prices tend to be much higher over here than in many other places so this was a more logical decision.

The car is due to be replaced sometime next year. I can almost guarantee that its successor will be a rather exciting piece of machinery.

Here are some shots I made. The last picture is at our current house, taken about a week back, and the other ones were taken when we first got the car (2007 with old camera). Pictures were taken outside my old school.
