Range Rover Sport feedback?

I took my wife to the local Jag/Land Rover dealer to try to convince her that other cars exist (she is smitten with her A3). So we drove a nice 2009 RR Sport Supercharged - I liked it a lot, and I think she was pleasantly surprised by how well it drives and how manageable it is for someone not accustomed to a bigger car or an SUV.

They have a lease deal for 36 mos @ $699 with around $6K out of pocket (TTL, cap cost red., etc.). It's not bad and well within budget.

So any RRS (esp. RRSS) owners have some feedback for us? Should we do it or should we run?

Sort of off-topic, but they also had a couple of Jaguar XF-Rs there... WHAT A SICK CAR!!! I want one bad as a DD, but that would break the bank at this point.

I have had a 2007 RRSS and I would totally pass. The new body is coming in 2010. They are really not that nice with their features. If she likes the A3, get the Q7 S-Line...destroys the RR.

Q7 is WAY too big, but a Q5 might do the trick... thanks for the info.

Get the full size RR. For a daily driver, it'll be hard to beat.

Chris, I've been daily driving RR's for the last ~9 years! Owned six of them in total, one of them being the RRS(S)...
If you have any Q's, I'll be happy to answer them for you!

Thanks - the whole point of the RRSS is that it's as big an SUV as she'll feel comfortable with. The Cayenne, RR, and Q7 are all too big. We will go try out a Q5 next, but I LOVE the RRSS...

Is the Q7 S-line out yet or soon to be released?
