Really? Iv'e only driven the SS and nearly crashed ( low speed ) 2x in the short drive around town due to the brakes feeling inadequate.

Have only driven the 1 example so maybe it was just that car.

Maybe I pulled a miniD and bagged it to early.

Hows London town Josh?

Hi Kurt,

I have quite a lot of seat time in the RRS so perhaps that was the case with the one you drove as you suggested - they really are amazing IMO and i was shocked over and over again by the stopping power they provide!

Funnily enough it was actually the first comment i made within a few minutes of driving the thing which is why i made a comment!

Things are lovely in London mate, how's things with you?

Must have been the car I drove then.

Things aren't bad. Weather starting to pack in though. Need to head tropical.

honestly, I would Run. Q5 is great, IMO. first SUV I have driven that I could see myself own (others are too big for my personal taste). great steering feel, and very fun to drive. coming from the A3 I think she would love it. they lease pretty good as well to boot.

It'll be out of warranty in another year and I am concerned about DSG, the OpenSky roof, etc. She wants to keep it, but then she's not paying for it (or the inevitable future repairs). I told her she should consider the A3 TDI coming out since she drives pretty gently and commutes primarily.

roccoman - Thanks for the info on the Q5. She'll definitely test one out - I told her it would be a lot more car-like to drive.
