Yeah, this one and "Guess the car..." have proved quite popular recently.

It was nice to see that TS didn't collapse from the void created by my absence for a few days.

Held on by the skin of DJ's teeth. Are the historical races at Infineon this weekend? I can't wait for those pics by the way. 60-70s sports cars are the cat's meow for me.

I felt certain I would see something along the lines of

GT3

when I clicked the latest post.

They are this weekend and there will be plenty of pics. I love all types of vintage racing, but the Pre-WW2 cars and Big Block Can Am cars are my favorite. There will be plenty of pics for you to enjoy from both Alzilla and myself.

As a part of the race, there is a Historic Race Car Road Rally where about 30 of the cars participating in the racing activities will be driving the 10 miles from Infineon to the historic square in Sonoma (about 3 blocks from my new house ) under police escort and parking around the square for everyone to look at and chat with the drivers while enjoying food and wine from some local restaurants and wineries. I love my new home town

I know, its a serious addiction, and if everything goes right in the next few months, the 7.1GT3 will be all mine. Time to keep my head down and stay focussed, even of that means boring all of you guys will my obsession. IT WILL BE MINE!!!

Welcome to the Wine Country Classic

I'll see if there are more like this one. 917's are rare at vintage racing events. I am going to Monterey this year. Usually there are more than a few 917's at at that event....

Already have it but in GT Silver. Also have the 996.1 GT3, 6.2 GT3/RS/& RSR, as well as 997.1 RS/&RSR. Its an addiction I know, but at least it isn't heroin.
