I'll see if there are more like this one. 917's are rare at vintage racing events. I am going to Monterey this year. Usually there are more than a few 917's at at that event....

I took this pic at the Coronado Speed Festival in 2006. I stared at this car from many angles for at least 15-20 minutes. I forget what model it is, but it had a 6 cyl motor......
It is much smaller than it looks, and I remember it being extremely quick. It really is a spectacular racing machine.

But both are just as costly in the long run. B/c I'm a runner the GT3 would be in my better interest, and it doesn't require any injections (free basing is for tools by the way).

Agreed, I would love to do that, but don't know when I will be in Europe next. By the way, I'm pretty sure thats a 908K in the picture, I've read many an article about that car.
