Very limited production. Great drivetrain. Great off-road, far better than advertised, virtually indestructable. Put simply, very limited production, outrageously outstanding vehicle, Mercedes-Benz name and service. FWIW I sat in a 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser a few weeks ago- sticker was $74K. Yesterday I saw a new LX 570 on the lot and took a look- lightly optioned, sticker was $78K. G500 can be had for low 80s. I dunno about you, but for four grand I'm getting the premium brand with the extra year's warranty, free loaners and coffee and donuts.

 

The G is just stellar...I love my S 63 but that G is a serious vehicle...such presence...kinda like a Phantom but in a different way...

By the way, there is a rumor of a "Baby" Phantom...I am on that like Barry Bonds on a vial of Sustanon 250, baby...
