The Rover seems like the proper choice, not sure how I feel about a diesel Porsche SUV. Go with the TDV8 if it's financially feasible. If not, the TDV6 is probably OK. Still, nothing like having all that TQ and not filling up every other day.

 

It will not be used for anything other than daily errands, no towing of any vehicles and will venture off-road maybe once a year along a field or two.

 

Sorry bro but the T-reg TDI is the only one I would get.
