Yes it's a nice car...but who actually uses a 56k nowadays? Argh!

Awesome cars.

My favorite car ever, hands down, would be a Lancia Stratos GRP IV. I've tried to buy several Stratos over the years, but never found the right one at the right price. There was a guy in Ohio with an incredible Stratos that had been converted to GRP IV specs. I waited, and thought, and waited some more. Then told the guy I'd take it, and he had just sold it. My biggest automotive regret ever.

Yeah, I remember your WTB thread back in the 6spd days. By Groupe IV conversion, does that mean Monte Carlo Rally type look? Super awesome.

It's more of a courtesy to tell people a thread has heavy content.

Although I am surprised you southern losers have broadband. You'd think that the rioting immigrants would have burned the Internets to the ground by now . . .

Well...at least we're closer to Germany and people are incomprehensible without having to get drunk.

Never trust a country where "one and sixty" becomes 61.

I just saw the pic of the Alfa GTV 2000

This is one of my all time favourite cars.

Ahh, yes. But it has a different kind of appeal - where the Lancia is one of the meanest cars ever built, the GTV is without a doubt the most beautiful car ever built.

A friend of mine actually spent his honeymoon in one, tooling around southern Italy for a few weeks. When your wife agrees to that, you know she's a keeper . . .

I actually came THIS close to buying a silver '79 Alfa GTV about a year ago but it was sold right in front of me, I was even in my car heading over there with the money. Then again, it was the 4 cylinder version so I might have saved myself from humiliation from you guys by owning the bastard child of Alfas.
