Project Garage Condo Complete - Start to Finish in 4 posts.
This build is nearly completed after 16 weeks, but I thought some of you might find this interesting.
We had maxed the 4 car capacity of our current garage, leaving me no room for my FFR Cobra build.
Solution (excuse to buy) = garage condo. Part storage, part workspace, part place to escape.
Located at the Auto Motorplex facility (40 acres) outside of Minneapolis. The host facility for Luis & Tyler's Minneapolis Cars & Coffee and Cycles & Coffee events.
There are approximately 175 garage condo units and a 4000 square foot clubhouse with a bar/big screen tv’s/kitchen for ‘owner’ gatherings, events and such.
The unit we bought is 1600 square feet (40x40) with an additional 16’x40’ mezzanine. Ceiling height is 18’. The upstairs has a 3/4 kitchen, ¾ bath, living room type area, office space and deck for cigar smoking. The bottom level is a full workshop with 2 or 3 lifts (inbound), storage room, 220V power, in-floor heat, wash bay/drain, another flat screen, and a lot of room for cabinets/tools.

Empty, but done...
We're still waiting on more furniture, lifts, and the weather to clear so I can bring the cars over.
