Help me choose a receiver

Help me choose a receiver
Looking for something fairly inexpensive to pair up with my speakers (have left, right, center ARs and a cambridge sub) for a small home theater/living room stereo setup. Looking for something with a nice feature set and good sound.
Currently considering these two:
The Onkyo is $280, the Yamaha is $200 open box locally. The Onkyo has a much better feature set, more HDMI inputs, iPhone remote, Apple TV integration, etc. However, I've never owned their equipment but have had yamaha with good success in the past.
Anyone have an opinion either way, or want to throw another contender in?

It is hard to beat Yamaha Natural Sound, I have the RX-V2400 and love the sound that comes out of it, solid and pure clean power. I'd stay with Yammy
I do miss not having HDMI inputs on my unit but I use my tv for that and run Optical Output.

I decided to go with the Onkyo...too many good features that the Yamaha just didn't stack up. The iPhone remote app, network enabled, Apple TV compatibility, HDMI video previews, 6 hdmi ports, etc. Plus after some research the Onkyo should be a clear winner over that particular Yamaha (as well as any of the sub $500 Yamaha offerings) in terms of sound quality and build quality as well. I'm sure that Yamaha is a good receiver, but the Onkyo offers a lot more for only a slightly higher price...and I always end up getting boned when I buy open box (something something open box boning girl above something something).

I haven't purchased it yet. I'd consider a Yamaha or Denon, but they don't make anything that comes close price, feature, or sound quality wise to the TX-NR414 from everything I've read. I can always add a square trade warranty to it at as well if I think I'll need it.
What sort of reliability issues have the Onkyo's had? I can't seem to find much online about them being more problematic than any of the other brands.
