Got a bit scared with the demo but then decided to buy it. I played for a few hours so far and I have to admit it is fun. Nothing compared to FM4 (more arcade oriented as you would expect), but definitely no regrets

Seems to progress rather quickly. I'm already 76% complete in terms of achievements based off my xbox.com profile.
Kinda wonder if i'm going to regret purchasing the Season Pass for this when i'm this far already and i've still got NFS Hot Pursuit on preorder with Halo 4 and Black Ops 2 shortly following thereafter. Don't get me wrong; still plenty of fun, but seems like i'll finish this rather soon and might not get back to it.

Yeah, sorry. Just been playing the other one and trying to finish I got the names confused.
To stay on topic though: Is anybody else having problems with the Showcase events against the planes? I can't seem to pass these f-ing races at all, and BARELY pass them even on easy. Everything else has been a breeze so far.

TDU was great open world but it was not the best in racing games. I prefer having a larger option in cars then what TDU had in choices. Like Forza has idk how many but lots of different cars and its an amazing game. hoping Horizon will be good.

Even though i love Forza 4 to death and am still planning on buying Horizon sometime in the future, i still can't get over how badly Turn10 dropped the ball on the car sounds in F4, and updating track packs and Autovista cars. There are even DLC categories for each of those. And the car sounds are "golden" on a surround sound system, but as soon as i played on my Turtle Beaches with the volume around the middle, i realized just how many shortcuts they took with the engine noise.
