They start their custom PCB (Printed Circuit Board) with dual ultra-low noise regulators which provide the platform for our 144db of dynamic range. Then they extract the internal I2S digital signal directly from the WiFi board which provides the “untainted” digital signal. The use of thier extremely low jitter oscillators allows us to recreate (reclock) the digital signal in the S/PDIF form with the advantage of being far more accurate than what you can expect in the stock form. With a combination of internal connections made from audio grade single core copper wiring and our first-class digital circuit, you can be sure to experience much more satisfaction from the product you’ve already come to enjoy or plan to purchase! If you already have a Sonos it can be sent into thier facility in California for the upgrade. They also sell new, modified Sonos ZP90s.
