Best iPod Audio?

After reading articles like this: Shuffle's Got a Secret - Columns by PC Magazine

Does anyone know how the latest generation stacks up with audio performance?

Are the shuffles still superior in the audio performance? Or is there another stand out performer among the group?

That article is a bit dated so I didn't know if the changes to that shuffle had been integrated in the latest generation.

Cheers!

I find my Zune to have much better sound quality than any of my ipods have.
