I have a 16GB iPod Touch (first gen) that sits in the trunk of my car hooked up to an Intravee. I used to use it also for traveling, but now that I have an iPhone, I don't need the larger screen for videos.

The iPod Touch also hibernates, which means that everytime I use my car I need to wake it up if I want the Intravee to recognize it.

I'm hoping someone has an older generation normal iPod, and would be interested in trading for an iPod Touch + cash (if that's fair).

 

I've got a pewter 80gb 5th gen with updated software, basically the most recent before the touch if you're interested... Minor surface scratches on the back but the front is perfect? How much money would you be wanting?

 

how do you like the intravee so far...i kept a 60GB ipod video in the trunk for that reason when I had the dietz a/v setup but I recently pulled that out since im debating the next setup...

 

I have a Black iPod Nano its an 8gb if thats more what you're looking for.

 

That sounds good to me, I'm researching now if the Gen 5 iPod will have the same problem. The Touch is in perfect condition, have a rubber case for it that's been on there since day one.

I don't really know what the price differences were/are - any idea?

 

I like it, I have the Alpine interface and it's all controllable from the nav. Can't complain about anything except this sleeping issue.

 

Whatever you think is fair man, I have an 80gb and a 40gb... but the 40gb I've had for ever and never leaves my iPod dock. The 80gb gets no use.
