the mac mini setup as a media player is actually not a bad idea...as my blue ray player has netflix built into as well as youtube but the interface is not the best...

There is not enough 3D content out there for me to make the jump, but the good 3D TVs have better picture quality in '2D' than traditional HDTVs.

My experience has led me to believe the same. However, I still cannot find anything that beats my 4 and a half year old Panasonic Plasma. EVERYONE who ever watches anything on it always compliments the picture quality.

The iPad/iPhone integration is what gets me most.
Yeah, those apps on iPad are pretty cool, I didn't think the iPad would be this useful before I bought it.

What models were your old tv's? They looked like Pioneer Elites. If they were I am drooling. Kuro's were unbelievable. I am not entirely sold on 3d so I wish they were still in production. I got a panasonic Plasma, but maybe Pioneer will come out with an OLED... The elite receiver is baller too. Nice setup!
I'll check out the new Windows 7 tablet at Microsoft store this weekend.

One of my old TVs is Elite Kuro FHD1. Yeah Kuro line is still the best plasma panel.

I'd love to keep my current stand but it can't fit my new Elite receiver, the receiver is too tall.

Nice setup, Ronnie. I think I've got the same TV as yours too. I won't give it up just yet. Nothing out there interests me enough even the newest 3D offering. Like one lgj said, there's not enough 3D content out there yet to make it worthwhile yet.

Not a fan of 3D, but you have an amazing setup. Love the Ipad/Iphone integration.

Yeah, not enough 3D blu-rays yet.
I really want to watch NBA games in 3D though but my provider doesn't offer ESPN 3D programming.

Driving a Scuderia is a lot better than watching 3D
