Brim, just type in TSPD when you go to join club

I did quite a bit of racing yesterday and was talking to random guys on how they were so much faster. The big difference was ABS off, Ive always ran with that on and it was my only aid. However, with it off they could brake so much later and get out of the corners so much faster. It's gonna take a while to change my muscle memory of how I had my controller setup but it is faster if you can balance the brakes and not hammer them.
I've always used the triggers as up/down shift and A/X for gas brake, but to have ABS off it's better to have triggers for gas/brake. It's gonna take forever to get use to this if I'm gonna make the switch

Agreed, even if we spend half our time searching for one that doesn't crash. It shouldn't take 30 minutes to get a race.

I have some good tunes that I have downloaded, but cannot share in the club garage since they are locked files that each person must buy in the tuning marketplace. Usually range from 0-15,000 credits per tune. It's really nice having multiple tunes saved so you can run the same model car across different classes, ie. using Ferrari 355 as a A, S and R3 car by just loading up a saved tune.

I'll post up what I got later tonight.

Ok great, did you buy your tunes or make them yourself? I'm thinking about getting more tunes as well so I can do the same thing with using one car for multiple classes. However, I've gone to work on making cars fit for different classes

Thanks for the link, I found a huge thread on a Forza specific forum but its making my head hurt. So many details, and I have no clue how to tell what software version I have as people are complaining about how things have changed. I'm not even sure how I would update the software on it.

What settings are you running? I just found a setting that seems to be working for me right now, but I had to keep traction control on. Wow is this thing fun once you get the hang of it. At a shock to me, the R1 cars are very easy to control with their level of grip.

Interesting. I've had ABS as my only aid (when I was on controller) as the brakes would always lock up. Now that I can modulate with the pedal I guess I can give this another whirl.

Definitely have to modulate the brakes or they will lock up every time

Braking does suck also, the pedal really has no feel and if you don't mash the brakes you won't stop but at the same time the wheels lock up. I have to adjust that also.

switchfoot my settings are:

Sen: 730
FF: 00
Sho: 100
Dri: Off
Abs: 85
Lin: 00
Dea: 00
Spr: -3
Dpr: 0

They were almost perfect for me, still adjusting though.
