I wouldn't hold my breath that a second generation will be launched any time soon. They are launched in many Euro markets, including ours, today.

I don't think they are still doing it. From what I was told, it was a promotion...

Edit: I called a couple of the stores back in Delaware as I have family back there, but they were all gone. It was a short promotion deal.....

but look at every single other ios product apple has come out w/ since the iphone and ipod touch 1st gen. There has been a new version every year realeased in the same month as the previous version just a year later.
