Go with the z-2300. Best power/price PC speakers on the market.

Check out Stereo Loudspeakers & Home Theater Speakers at Axiom Audio – Your Ultimate Audio Experience , they make wicked stuff. All the wood boxes are done in house and his (the founder's) driver designs are made to spec in Taiwan. Big bang for your buck.

Thanks for the tip! I might get those for myself. Do you personally own these speakers?

I had the VP 150, M22's and the EP500. The EP500 is a monster of a sub! About 25yrs ago the Ontario government issued an audio research grant and centre. That's why there are many Ontario audio companies, most famously Paradigm.

The Axiom Audio factory is actually 25min from my cottage and I went and took a tour. Top notch wood working skills and varnish etc. All made by hand, quite amazing really! You'll be impressed I'm sure of it!
