When you play the championship races, you can't save it like in GT4 and come back later to finish up.
I just hope we can save endurance races.

Furai was some b-spec championship, the 2nd or 3rd series. Needs a lot of suspension smoothening, but it's a beast, 580hp for 670kgs or something.

I'm only at level 18 though. Could not find time to play this week. wife will be at a baby shower tonight so I'll be all alone with my PS3 this evening

 

I've been postponing B-Spec but maybe I need to give it a chance.

 

It's actually nice after all.

Since no matter what you tell your driver will make things worse, I set him loose and go clean the dishes, make dinner, watch a movie ... if he wins, good. If he doesn't, another race with a faster car.

Very uninvolving, but you get $$$ and nice cars given to you.

 

^ Yea, every time I tell him to go faster, he posts slower lap times...

 

Unlike GT4, he actually passes opponent without having to be in "overtake" mode, so that's unnecessary.
Pace up just makes him angry and drive like a mess
Slow down ... well, we're racing.

The best really is to give him the best damn car you can find, and let him do his thing.

For the funnay, he's drving 20s/lap slower than me. I did the Grand Valley Speedway in the low 1:40s, he was lapping in the 2:05s in the same car ... *facepalm
