Digital Photo Albums

Hey everybody,

Does anyone have a good recommendation for portable digital photo albums? I found a lot on the market by Sony, Kodak, Phillips, etc., but can't seem to find one that can run on battery power.

I was originally looking at the AL7 by Digital Spectrum (attached below), but that appears to have been discontinued.

Thanks for looking!

Have you thought of rolling your own battery for one? (serious question)

Let me know which one you are serious about. Shouldn't be too hard to work up something rechargeable.

Gobbles,

Could you explain what you mean by rolling your own battery? I'd be interested in going this route. Currently, I think of going for the Sony DPF-D70.

Amazon.com: Sony DPF-D70 7-inch Digital Photo Frame: Camera & Photo

Thanks again!

Dang, I was thinking these things wouldn't need much power but I should have thought more about the screen.

That Sony draws 12 volts at 1.2 amps. Gonna be tough to make a battery power source with those specs that is small enough to not stick out like a sore thumb somewhere near the frame.

Are you wall mounting this or sticking it on a table/shelf somewhere?
