I recently purchased a Samsung LED TV from Best Buy. The Geek squad guys called me up and mentioned to me that the TV should get a "tune-up" since I have owned for about 5 months now. Does anyone know if this is necessary or is this just another way fro them to squeeze $300 from me. The TV is excellent and the picture is incredible. I was just curious what you home theater experts out there would recommend. Thanks in advance for any input.

 

 

Tune up? There is nothing they need to do after 5 months. Maybe ask them what they intend to tune?

 

Maybe they want to align your "projectors." HAHAHAHAHHA

Wow with LED being the latest and greatest, it would suck if it really needed tune ups every couple of months. I think they are just trying to make money off of you for things you don't need but will make naive people feel better about their new TV.
