The Official Forza 3 gamer's thread

Got to level 30 very quickly (surprisingly so as I don't have much time for games these days). For some reason, us Euro guys got the game a good week or so before the States did...
After level 35 the gaps seem a lot bigger and the races longer.
Also, I've got over 600gamerpoints from Forza3 already. And looking at the achievements list, I can easily get all bar one within the next week or two of occasional gaming. The big one will be "win every race gold" and considering I'm barely 20% of the way through the game, that will take a while.
Been good fun playing online with mates. They've got a few game modes like "tag", so fire up one of the open tracks like the airfield with hanger one (got a Subaru with Ken Block style graphics for that...
) and just race from each side and try and crash into eachother. That's a good laugh.
Overall, very good game, but it will be back on the shelf as soon as Modern Warfare 2 comes out for sure!!

At first I was a bit disappointed when I started playing because it seemed like so many tracks and cars were the same as Forza 2, and if you played alot of FM2 then it got repetitive. But once I started exploring the depth of FM3, all I can say is this game is fantastic!
Level 20 here. I started with the Fiesta, basically used all the cars they give you until I saved up, bought the B6 S4 and made it a C Class beast, then saved up more and bought the GT2. I couldn't decide between the 997TT or GT2, I figured the GT2 would oversteer too much, but I'm glad I picked it up, it rides on rails and hardly oversteers if you're smart. I bought all the upgrades for the GT2 but decided to max it out in the S class.
Has anyone else had trouble finding races online? Maybe 1 in 10 tries I get in a lobby and when I do it's usually with only one other player. My gamertag is HibiscusA4 if anyone wants to add me.
Here's my GT2 with Dymags!!

And my S4, also with Dymags!!

Does anyone know why the little triangle with the exclamation mark that appears when you go off or hit another car or press the rewind button comes up on laps even when you don't mess up? Sometimes it will appear by the first turn of a race after the beginning straight away, even if you don't do anything wrong.
