Laptop Help (again)! please :)
Anyone have or know anyone with one of these?
AS1005HAWT | Eee PC 1005HA Seashell 10.1 inch Pearl White NetBook | BuyDig.com
I'm thinking of buying it but can't find any in a retail store. CNET has a good rating for it though.

I made a laptop thread before about finding an 8" netbook.. i've decided to get something more in the 10-11" range now though.I'm going to continue looking and probably won't actually buy for another couple of weeks.

i think these netbooks have a very limited use. i bought a Acer 13" one with Atom processor. i swear it's such a dog that even a Pentium III processor from 4 yrs ago beats it in speed. keyboard even at full size was hard to type bc of limited feel. i had a it sitting around after a couple wks and eventually returned it.
if u want something for very light surfing or for skype, it's okay. iphone does it better for less. 10" is still too small.
asus as a brand sucks! same with acer. i'd avoid buying any of these brands. when it comes to laptop, i stick to toshiba. you can get a 13.3 that performs well with reliability. granted, it will be heavier and battery power will be less.
