I ended up getting the new Yamaha RX-V665 from Audioholics for $499 plus a 10% off coupon, no tax, free shipping, and a free 3-year extended warranty. There are no reviews of the 665, except for lots of comments about the fact that it weighs 8 pounds less than the 663. However, it has some great features and Burr-Brown DACs, so I think it should be fine for my needs.



I also picked up a Mirage Uni-Theater for $450 ($800 list). It's like a fire sale on the Web this week. I'll pick up surround speakers later once I see how the setup sounds.
