Just bought a Blackberry Bold today, Nov 3rd!!

I called the local AT&T store to see if there's any truth to the Blackberry Bold coming out tomorrow (Nov. 4th), and the sales rep said "uh, they just arrived today you can get one now".
I hung up the phone, drove to the store (right around the corner from work), and bought one.
I got it for $349 + $100 Mail in rebate because I'm a "high volume customer".
It's charging right now, I haven't even turned it on yet. The AT&T store said they'll be sold out by tomorrow so I thought I'd give you guys a heads up!

Saw the bold today and really liked it. I only got to play around with it briefly but I liked it better than the curve feel wise. Does anyone know if it's WiFi?? I was thinking it would have to be but I was unsure. Also can't wait to see what the Storm has to offer. So far I'm not sold on touch screen anything so I dunno yet...

The OS is very fast and responsive, and the use of transparencies are a nice touch. Functionality wise its just a Blackberry that we've all come to know and love, with few more frills and options as well.
I added the tethering plan and am currently browsing using the Bold tethered to my laptop.
EDIT: I just did a speakeasy speed test on the tethered connection over 3G- I got an impressive 1,260 kbps down 340 kbps up!
EDIT2: The best part about 3G? No more noise interference with electronics!
I haven't found a definitive link online, if anything I've seen release dates around the 15th of this month... I got the 4th via word of mouth I suppose. My manager's neighbor works for RIM and I believe that's where I inherited the rumor.

I'm a heavy e-mail and text message user and I went from the iPhone 3G to the Bold. Also, I've been traveling a lot recently and the 6 hour battery life of my iPhone was killing me (although apple replaced it but I sold it immediately afterward).

Only 6 hours? Wow ... I'm a heavy user also of mail and text message, I think I'll get the Bold, having a real keyboard is a must. Plus, here in Argentina the carrier that offer's the Bold is quite better than the one's offering the iPhone, so that's has made just my decision I think.
